Foodwise is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to championing an equitable and sustainable Bay Area food community through farmers markets and education programs. We envision a just and regenerative food future that nourishes all people, local economies, and the living earth. Founded in 1994, Foodwise (formerly CUESA) operates the world-renowned Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, Alemany Farmers Market, and Mission Community Market in San Francisco. Foodwise offers food access and education programs to connect eaters of all ages with fresh food and local farms, and inspire communities to take part in creating a fair, regenerative, and delicious food future for all.
