WildEarth Guardians works to protect and restore the wildlife, wild rivers, wild places, and health of the American West. Founded in 1989, Guardians has a long history of conservation successes protecting forests, rivers, and other threatened landscapes, and wildlife. We currently operate four major programs—Wildlife, Wild Places, Wild Rivers, and Climate & Energy. We rely on a potent combination of education, scientific analysis, public advocacy, litigation, and on-the-ground restoration and have more than 200,000 members and e-activists, the majority living in the American West. We have offices in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. Our staff includes lawyers, policy experts, scientists, ecosystem restoration experts, community organizers, and fundraisers.
